A good day at work includes measured patient improvement, collaboration with my co-workers, increased learning in this field, and continuing to grow as a therapist. The most rewarding part of my job is getting to know patients on a personal level as they progress in therapy. I enjoy developing relationships with them so that I can better understand their injury and their specific needs to ensure they are able to return to their normal responsibilities at work and at home. I chose to work at CPR because they have proven methods that cultivate healing, progression, and great communication between staff and patients.
When I’m not at work you will find me spending time with my wife, family, and friends. I also enjoy anything sports related (specifically soccer and basketball), boating, and traveling. My very first job was as a Physical Therapy technician throughout high school. It was a great first job that solidified my interest in this field and taught me a lot of valuable skills.
Four Quick Facts About Me:
- I taught myself to juggle (if you’re lucky you will see it in the clinic sometime)
- I consider myself a bit of a movie buff. If you ever want to talk Batman, Christopher Nolan, or JJ Abrams, I’m your guy.
- I know that I am living in Michigan now, but I will forever be a Chicago Bulls fan.
- I was on the Improv team in college. Although I would be filled with stage fright before every show, I absolutely loved it.
