Dan Distin, founder and President, started The Center for Physical Rehabilitation with the philosophy of giving each patient the time and attention they needed to heal. Highly trained in manual therapy, Dan wanted to incorporate his skills as a manual Physical Therapist as well as incorporate exercise in each patient encounter. He has found patients with combined care recover quicker.

After the first year of operation, Dan brought on Chris Nawrocki, current Chief Operating Officer, and together they have established a growing physical therapy organization with a reputation of high quality patient care. Their focus has remained on utilizing the best research-based treatments delivered with a caring smile.

Accredited and Licensed

All of our therapists are accredited and licensed by the state of Michigan, receiving continuing education multiple times per year. Even new therapists are closely mentored by senior staff while pursuing advanced credentials. We are committed to staying up to date on the most recent physical therapy techniques and research, helping you to recover faster.

Committed to Community

We support numerous schools with athletic trainers and continually give back to our
community through sponsorships and donations. We are affiliated with various schools in supporting programs for students exploring their career options along with those
needing to fulfill clinical internships to complete their programs. We are committed to education and our health care community.

Partnering with Local Schools

The Center for Physical Rehabilitation has partnered with five area high schools and one university, providing athletic trainers for numerous sporting events. The Center employs highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC), and we are committed to providing the best on-site care for athletes at our partnering schools.
