The Center for Physical Rehabilitation is proud to announce the addition of our tenth location within the Holland Aquatic Center. Bringing our well-established reputation to the lakeshore, the Center will continue to provide the same exceptional care and focus on sports medicine from clinic manager and therapist Matt Zitny, DPT. Opening date is scheduled for Monday, October 2, 2023.
Zitny is excited to join the Holland community and is grateful for a partnership with the Holland Aquatic Center (HAC). “ I am looking forward to serving the lakeshore as a healthcare resource and am proud to work alongside the HAC team, who cares deeply about the wellness of their members and athletes.” The Center’s Holland team will provide a wide range of outpatient physical therapy services including specialties in orthopedic and sports medicine care. Some of these specialties include an emphasis on the overhead athlete such as swimmers and throwers, as well as advanced treatment techniques including dry needling and aqua therapy. This team is dedicated to patient recovery and prevention of future injury.
The Center for Physical Rehabilitation’s 2,474 square-foot dry land clinic will be located inside the Holland Aquatic Center utilizing the west entrance with business address 550 Maple Ave Suite 10 Holland, MI 49423.
“We look forward to being a part of the Holland community,” said Chris Nawrocki, CEO of The Center for Physical Rehabilitation. “For years, the Holland Aquatic Center has been providing excellent health and wellness opportunities for the area. Likewise, The Center for Physical Rehabilitation has been serving the greater Grand Rapids region for almost 30 years. The collaboration between our teams will provide the next level of care to the Holland region. We will build on what the HAC already provides by bringing a great physical therapy care experience and offering services not currently available.”
The Center most recently expanded in March with the addition of the Sports Academy located in the lower level of our Cascade clinic. The Sports Academy shares space with the already established Wellness Academy. The expansion of sports specific rehabilitation has elevated care to West Michigan athletes through the use of advanced therapeutic techniques and state of the art space.
Coverage of West Michigan is expansive with this addition of Holland, making it the Center’s tenth location with two clinics in Grand Rapids as well as Belmont, Byron Center, Greenville, Jenison, Kentwood, Walker and Okemos! We are excited for this growth, and look forward to getting to know the Holland community!
