The Center For Physical Rehabilitation was so awesome and supportive as I worked on rehabbing an injured ankle. The location was perfect, easy to get to and conveniently located close to home. Parking in downtown GR is easy if you have the MOTU app, there were ALWAYS street spots available. They do have a parking ramp and they do validate parking, but honestly, the street parking was super convenient for me. But the real appeal of the Center for Physical Rehabilitation Downtown is the people! My PT, Dustin, was super supportive and the perfect mix of teacher / coach! He got my ankle back to regular activity levels in no time! Highly recommend them!

Received excellent PT care from the downtown location. Tom was great about listening to my sciatica issues, provided appropriate stretching and strengthening exercises, followed up each session with adjustments as needed, and was very thorough and patient answering all my questions. Very personable and knowledgeable and good with feedback. I had some initial doubts about one of the stretches he put into my program (that dreaded cobra one!), but it turns out that was one of the biggest factors in helping ease my sciatica pain. Dustin was equally knowledgeable for one of my appointments when I had to reschedule. The front staff is helpful and friendly, parking is easy with their validated passes, and the facility is super clean and fully prepped for any PT needs. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience. Aside from the whole staff being friendly and energetic, I felt my rehab really helped me recover from my surgery much faster and more efficiently than with my previous (same procedure) surgery. Five stars all around.

I came to the downtown location after months of experiencing an unstable shoulder that started causing nerve pain down my arm. I saw Dustin Karlik and he was amazing. He focused on strengthening the movements I was most concerned about and my nerve pain disappeared after just a few visits. He made sure to accommodate all problems that I was experiencing and made me feel more comfortable with the exercises that once scared me. The facility is always clean and the staff is amazing. Parking is validated as well!

Love the staff at Center PT. The physical therapy was perfectly suited for my knee and ankle, and they were very accommodating for my schedule. Parking was a non-issue with passes issued for the ramp at each visit. 100%recommend. As an intern under Dustin, Becky was phenomenal and I hope she returns as a therapist.

I highly recommend the center for physical rehabilitation they have excellent staff in multiple locations who are incredibly knowledgeable . I have a chronically dislocating multiple surgery difficulty with my right shoulder. When I learned that they had a free walk-in evaluation I decided to give the center for physical rehabilitation downtown a try. Since attending I have experienced less pain, greater strength and confidence. I just completed my series of appointments and will probably do a yearly check in to evaluate my weaknesses and update my exercises. I’m confident that with continued effort on my part and with their guidance and support I will be able to avoid further surgeries for a long time to come 🙂

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. It’s a go-at-your-own-pace type of rehabilitation facility; there wasn’t a strict agenda, or what you see in movies or tv. I felt heard and understood about my shoulder discomfort. The problem was soft with a give-and-take relationship, not a drill sergeant type. Great working with Dustin and Becky, and I hope others feel encouraged to seek assistance by them or the other team members!

I absolutely love the therapy I received from Tom. He helped me with my neck injury and got me back into training for my triathlons. Tom taught me stretches and other maintenance routines to keep me healthy after our sessions were over. At the front desk, Betsy always welcomed me with genuine enthusiasm. She’s the friendliest receptionist around. I’d highly recommend the center for your injury. Don’t wait. They even checked my bike fit. (It’s a triathlon thing.)

I went to see Tom with a shoulder injury and pelvic pain. My goal was to increase my flexibility and strength and with every visit I saw improvement. Tom takes the time to really listen and asks great questions in order to give you an exercise plan that works best for you and your body. I haven’t felt this good in years and am so grateful for the work we did together. I really can’t say enough great things about Tom as a Physical Therapist. Doing my physical therapy at the Center for Physical Rehabilitation was a terrific experience. What could have easily been a miserable 6 weeks was made much more bearable due to the staff’s professionalism and their personable natures. This location is immaculately clean and was well equipped to handle the variety of physical movements that I needed. While I hope to never need physical therapy again, I will choose this location without hesitation if I do.

Super friendly staff who are all very knowledgable- they give you easy and functional resources to strengthen and heal your injuries. Before I came here I hadn’t been able to run more than a few miles without pain and now I’m getting back to my longer distances! They’re happy to answer all questions and go in depth with you about your problem areas. I would recommend any of these guys to anyone!

One word (Excellence), The Staff Is professional, personable, knowledgeable and up to date on all the recent sciences (I LOVE to see that). I was Doing PT because of a work injury. I had a very weak lower back and range of motion limited, trouble bending back, and a very low ability to lift heavy weight, I had weak core and support muscles (which I learned about from them (+). And really was working from square one.

They are knowledgeable and truly changed my life. because not only I able to accurately target all the needed muscles that need to be stronger, but they also challenged me and over a progressive amount of time I found tremendous amount of relief. (Also taking the take home exercises seriously). While also being given great tools to incorporate into my own life and exercise routines to help maintain strength to prevent injury relapse. I was also able to purchase from them the 5 color resistance bands! super convenient!! I highly recommend them

I would also like to thank the Secretary Betsy, she was so professional, lighthearted and helpful all the time, and made me feel so welcome each time I came in. Shes really brightens an already Bright, encouraging and motivating atmosphere.

I would recommend them to anybody hands down. Just had a great customer experience.

Tom, Dustin, and Betsy are the best! I’ve felt supported both pre-op and post-op and they’re always available to answer questions, fit me in with a busy schedule, and help me have fun when I can’t physically do what I used to do for fun. Dustin has been my therapist and I feel like we make progress each (twice weekly) session. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Tom at The Center For Physical Rehabilitation Downtown on and off the last 4 years for different injuries. He is really knowledgeable and helps you understand your underlying conditions and how to work through your pain. I highly recommend him. If I could give them a higher rating I would. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better PT then Tom. He was friendly, professional and personable. Very very happy with the care I received here. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Dustin was my therapist and I am so happy with what we accomplished. He didn’t give up when I continued to have pain despite the work we were doing and came up with new ideas to try. He also would send emails to check in on me to make sure things were still going OK. The rest of the staff is all incredibly personable and friendly. I truly enjoyed my experience here and would recommend it to anyone needing physical therapy.
