Sports Academy

The Center for Physical Rehabilitation’s Sports Academy is a space built around sports physical therapy, injury prevention for athletes, and sports performance therapy. We offer advanced sports medicine while supporting the physical and mental aspects of athletic injuries.

Sports Rehabilitation

The sports physical therapy we offer is designed for athletes of all ages and levels, including professional, collegiate, high school, middle school and recreational. The Sports Academy is also for the weekend warriors and those wanting to get back to their own fitness goals. Led by Sport Certified Specialists that include a dedicated team of physical therapists, athletic trainers and certified strength and conditioning specialists.

Return to Play

Our program assists athletes transitioning from physical therapy after an injury to a confident return to safe full participation in sports. By recreating game-like exercises in a controlled environment, athletes are able to practice the demands of their sport, with the supervision of our experienced clinicians.

Move2Perform

The Center implements Move2Perform testing, which is an injury prediction software utilizing an athlete’s score on function movement tests and compares it to national statistics. These scores allow The Center to assist in sports injury prevention, crucial return to play decisions, or pinpoint deficits where further work is needed.
