What is The Studio?

The Studio is an extension of our Wellness Academy and is dedicated exclusively to yoga-based classes and workshops. Formerly known as Cascade Yoga Studio, the Center acquired and has since transformed that space into The Studio, all while retaining its diverse class offerings and expert instructors. For those looking to implement mindful practices into their workout routine, The Studio seamlessly adds to the Wellness Academy’s existing fitness class and personal training offerings.

Who Should Take Classes at The Studio?

The Studio welcomes students of all yoga levels and practices to attend classes. While being a space for everyone, our offerings primarily emphasize slow and gentle yoga practices. Many of The Studio’s classes are well-suited for those who are new to yoga, enjoy foundational poses, and are primarily focused on addressing balance or mobility.

Geared specifically for those new to yoga or that are looking for a slow practice. This class will offer supported poses for any level and will use props to assist in alignment. No experience or flexibility required!

Dive into the foundations of yoga to gain an understanding of the poses and learn proper alignment and healthy mobility. Breathing techniques and meditation will also be integrated.

Chair Yoga

A gentle form of yoga with both seated and standing postures. This practice incorporates physical poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques to improve mobility, flexibility, balance, and strength.

Getting to The Studio in Our Wellness Academy

As a part of the Wellness Academy, The Studio is located in the basement level of PT-CPR’s Cascade clinic. Easily accessible off of Cascade Road in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this location can be found within the Cascade Trails Business Center.
