I cannot say enough great things about this PT clinic. I genuinely look forward to coming in every time, not only to work on my knee but also to see the friendly faces in the office. Bryce, Melissa, and Lexi are always smiling and provide incredible insight, encouragement, and support throughout the entire process. Since this was my first injury, I did not know what to expect, but they made recovery far more enjoyable and reassuring than I imagined. Thanks to their help, I now have full movement in my knee. If I ever get injured again, this is the place I would come back to every single time.

I have had 3 of my kids receive Physical Therapy here from various sports injuries. Kai & Bryce is who we have primarily seen. They were amazing at incorporating exercises & workouts specific to each of their sports they were trying to get back to. I have been extremely happy with the office in Okemos. From the office staff to all the therapist!! I'm hoping for no more injuries, however, we will be very happy to return!!!!

I had a great experience with Jimmy Nguyen, PT, DPT, at "The Center for Physical Rehabilitation" in Okemos. I came in with lower back pain, trouble walking, and balance issues. I have been going for about a month, and the back pain is gone, and I am walking approximately 1-2 miles four to five times a week. Jimmy is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and gave me exercises that were challenging but effective. I am so grateful for the care I received. Highly recommend.

The CPR has helped me recover from a number of injuries. They approach treatment with empathy, professionalism and skill. The therapists listen to how I feel and adjust treatment accordingly. I am so grateful for their expertise and comforted to know they are here if and when I should need therapy again. Walking in I did not know what to expect. One of my hamstring muscles was completely torn from my pelvis and I had the New York City Marathon to run in a few months. I had doubts that I would be able to complete it due to extreme pain. The care and plan Bryce and Lee provided was unbelievable! I was not only able to complete my marathon but it was my fastest one yet…with one less hamstring muscle working!! Surgery to reattach is next month and you can bet I’ll be back for post-op therapy. The entire staff is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodating.

I’ve seen Kai and his assistant Lee for over 15 years for everything from strains to recovery from surgery. Kai is top notch because not only does he get the job done, but he always explains what he’s doing and why, and why it’s important that you to practice with the correct form. Maintain that core!!

Kai worked with me after my mastectomy and was such safe space with so much knowledge on how everything works and explaining it in a way that makes sense to me. He’s patient and kind and i enjoy walking in weekly for my session. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for PT!!

I had an excellent experience here. Bryce was very knowledgeable and helped me design a plan to get my elbow back to full strength. I really enjoyed coming here every week to rehab my injury. Great experience with CPR and their therapists. Worked primarily with Allison who was terrific. Continued to adjust program until we found exercises and stretches that produced great results. Allison listened well, showed true concern and commitment to positive results for me, and followed up to make sure I stayed on track. Great experience and I highly recommend!

I rate The Center for Physical Rehabilitation and Kai's patient care a 5 out of 5! kai has been my Physical Therapist since 2013...that's 10 years! He has provided excellent patient care over the years I've worked with him on my right hip, left shoulder, left hip, right shoulder, my back, glutes and gait. He really knows me, my hyper-mobile body constitution, my history of surgeries, and my limitations. He takes a personal and professional interest in each of his client and really makes and effort to help clients reach their physical therapy goals. I have enjoyed working with Kai over the years and would highly recommend him to anyone needing PT. His name and reputation are well-known and respected and he is regarded as one of the best by the Lansing area Orthopedic community.

I have hypermobile joints and techniques that work for most people don't work for me. Kai is great at modifying therapy to fit the individual. They are both very kind and dedicated to their clients.

Nick and Allison have been extremely helpful in my recovery from shoulder surgery. Allison has been very knowledgeable in adding exercises as my strength and flexibility improved, working with me twice a week. My improvement has been steady and now, six months after surgery, I feel normal.
Mellisa’s smiling face at the front desk is always welcome, and she was very helpful in resolving some insurance difficulties.
As I was completing my shoulder therapy I developed some hip pain and, once again, Adam and Allison worked with me for several sessions to relieve that pain.
I highly recommend Allison and all of the staff at the Okemos Center for Physical Rehabilitation.

I have been a patient at the Center of Physical Rehabilitation since 2009. My Orthopedic doctor recommended this center for my back and knees issues.
I've been seeing Kai and Lee. This year I had the pleasure of working with the new team member Allison. I can't find the words that would describe the level of courtesy, care and respect they gave me and gave all their patients, from my observation. Each one of them has a different technique that helped me a lot.
My whole family went there for different issues. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is the absolute best physical therapy experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been going for over 15 years. I’ve had 5 spinal and cervical fusions and never thought I could gain improvement but I have with this PT group. I started PT at the Center for Physical Rehabilitation three days after my total knee replacement. The surgery, followed by seven weeks of working with Kai and Lee and doing prescribed exercises at home have given me my life back! Lee and Kai pushed just enough to keep me moving forward. This is THE BEST group you can choose for PT. They truly care, Kai and Lee are second to none when it come to complete PT and recovery. They listen to your concerns and st her same time move you forward to recovery. They also use manipulation techniques as well. I’ve had three joint replacements in less than three years. Kai Nimtz and Lee have been providing me with excellent physical therapy for several years. What sets them apart is their teaching! Kai keeps teaching until he can see that you understand. When you understand, you are more effective with your physical therapy routine. Kai has a wonderful demeanor and teaching style that he personalizes to each patient, always looking for the right words or examples that will help you understand.
If you have hyper mobility, Kai has the knowledge and skill to help you.
I am just now recovering from two back to back incidences which resulted in a total of five bone breaks. My outcome has been phenomenal due to Kai and Lee. I could not be more thankful.

Katie at the Belmont location was exactly the PT I needed to assist me in recovering from my knee replacement. She knew when to push me and gave me confidence to believe I could do more. She also knew when to back off on the days when I when I was struggling. Office staff very friendly and greeted me by name at each visit. I needed to reschedule a couple of visits and they made the process easy. This is my second time at the Belmont location. I highly recommend!

Kai’s clinical skills and knowledge are amazing! He is one of those gifted individuals who can watch someone walk or move, put his hands on the problem area, and know what needs to be corrected. And he does not keep his wisdom to himself, but is continually teaching staff and patients. When Kai treated my neck and back I gained both mobility and decreased pain, but also a wealth of information and exercise that will help me to maintain what he has gained. Kai’s reputation drew me in, however, I primarily worked with Lee. Lee was not only a huge help getting me back to feeling good, he was also a bright spot in my day.

Hi my name is Bryan...and I just want to share the experience that I had at The Center for Physical Therapy in Meridian crossing, I had a bothersome knee problem that I had over my time working in the construction industry, I ask if I need a knee replacement and my doctor said no just some arthritis, and talk about feeling 100 percent better than I was before, I started seeing a therapist named Jenna, she totally changed my mind from thinking about a knee replacement. In just over three weeks, I feel like a new 60 year old man, that can do anything! I would certainly highly recommend anyone with issues that need to be addressed when it comes to physical therapy to 1st check with this physical therapy center. The staff was very nice and helpful to all who were there and they know therapy!!!
