Greater West Michigan physical therapy company to expand to Okemos with addition of 9th clinic.
The Center for Physical Rehabilitation and Therapy (The Center), LP announced acquisition of Crossroads Physical Therapy located at 3536 Meridian Crossing Dr Ste 240, Okemos, MI 48864. The well-established Crossroads clinic will continue to provide the same exceptional care from therapist Kai Nimtz, PT and Physical Therapist Assistant LPTA Lee Garner with the transition of ownership and name to The Center scheduled for December 1, 2021.
Nimtz and his team provide a wide range of outpatient physical therapy services including specialties in orthopedic and sports medicine care. With over 17 years of experience at Crossroads, they are not only experts in treating injuries and conditions but dedicated to patients’ recovery and prevention of future injury. They will continue that philosophy of treatment under The Center for Physical Rehabilitation’s ownership. The Center’s strong reputation and business offerings were large factors in the change of ownership.
“The Center for Physical Rehabilitation’s experience, trusted care and business expertise are going to bring more services and opportunities to our patients and staff,” according to Nimtz.
Under the ownership of Nimtz, Crossroads Physical Therapy has been serving the Okemos and Lansing area since 2004. The 2250 square-foot clinic will remain in the community shopping plaza off Jolly Road.
“We are excited to be a part of the Okemos community,” said Chris Nawrocki, CEO of The Center for Physical Rehabilitation. “For years, the Crossroads Physical Therapy staff have been providing similar patient centered attention and values. We look forward to enhancing an already great patient care experience while offering services that are not currently available.”
The Center for Physical Rehabilitation most recently expanded in July with the move from Gezon Parkway in Wyoming to a new build and much larger clinical space at 6500 Byron Center Ave SW, Byron Center.
Coverage of West Michigan is expansive with this addition of Okemos, making it The Center’s ninth location with two clinics in Grand Rapids as well as Belmont, Byron Center, Greenville, Jenison, Kentwood and Walker.
