This informative session is designed for individuals with limb loss or prosthetic use who are looking to improve strength, mobility, and overall function in a safe, supportive environment.

What is Adaptive Fitness
Our Adaptive Fitness Class is a structured 6-week program, meeting twice per week, specifically designed to address the unique needs of individuals using prosthetics.
This program focuses on four key areas:
Strength
- Improves prosthetic control and stability
- Reduces strain on joints and spine
- Supports safe daily movement and transfers
Balance
- Decreases fall risk and builds confidence
- Enhances weight shifting and gait mechanics
- Improves coordination with prosthetic use
Flexibility
- Maintains joint mobility and tissue health
- Reduces stiffness and risk of contractures
- Promotes more efficient, comfortable movement
Education (special guests from Hanger Clinic)
- Optimizes prosthetic fit and function
- Teaches skin care and pressure management
- Supports long-term independence and success

- Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 1:00 PM
- Location: Byron Center Clinic
- Cost: $120 for the full 6-week session
